Vice President, Project Management - Mid-Atlantic
The Vice President, Project Management will be responsible for the development and execution of the Business Plan. While the Plan will cover all relevant sectors, it will focus on the Biotechnology, Biopharma, Food, and Nutraceutical sectors in detail.
SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop proposals and solutions to meet client’s requirements.
• Make presentations communicating internally to staff and externally to clients.
• Represent client by maintaining relationships via industry conferences, seminars, and educational presentations.
• Determine appropriate strategy and approach for each client opportunity.
• Build relationships internally and with external consulting groups as required.
• Advise the Executive Director, internal staff, and the Board of Directors as to trends and dynamics in the Biotechnology, Biopharma, Food, and Nutraceutical sectors.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Strong scientific understanding buttressed by the appropriate degrees and experience.
• Business/project development experience with success in client development and relationship building.
• Strong interpersonal skills, able to function well in team environments.
• Persuasive communication skills, good platform experience
• Advanced business training gained by experience and/or advanced business degree.
• Individual should be well organized and able to accommodate multiple responsibilities.
• Individual should be experienced in negotiations and closing of sizeable contracts.
