Chief Financial Officer - Mid-Atlantic
The CFO position is critically important as it will be the “eyes and ears” of the investment banking community in the US. Working with the CEO, the CFO will develop the financial strategy that will carry the company through its clinical phase through to commercialization. What’s needed is a CFO who knows his/her way through the maze of relationships with lenders, investors, and the banking community. He/she will plan, direct and control our client’s overall financial plans and policies, reviewing proposed mergers/acquisitions, product licensing, partnering, etc.
REQUIREMENTS:
• CFO experience in a life-sciences, Nasdaq-listed company
• Direct and recent experience with US SEC reporting and S-O requirements.
• Well networked in the Life Science banking and investment community.
• Demonstrated ability to handle corporate communications and Investor relations.
• Strong background in various types of financing, e.g., follow-on offerings, debt financings, PIPEs and registered direct.
• Successful experience in developing a financial/accounting function within a fast growing Life Science company.
• Recent success in raising significant capital through various sources.
• Demonstrated success in attracting new investors and market interest.
Location can be anywhere from Boston through Washington, DC.
